Marc Longhurst's work experience includes various roles in the construction and infrastructure consulting industry. Marc started their career in 2005 as a Cost Manager at Chandler KBS. From 2007 to 2020, they worked at Faithful+Gould, where they held multiple roles such as Commercial Manager, Associate Director, and Director of Services. During this time, they focused on strategic initiatives, digital transformation, and service development. In 2020, they joined Atkins as the Digital Development Director, leading a global investment program to improve infrastructure delivery. Marc later rejoined Faithful+Gould as the Global Development Director, focusing on accelerating growth across their Project and Programme Management services. In 2023, they worked as the Global Growth Director at SNC-Lavalin before moving to AtkinsRéalisation in the same position.
Marc Longhurst completed their education at multiple institutions. From 2015 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in General studies at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Prior to that, between 2005 and 2008, Marc obtained a Master of Science in Surveying from the University of Reading. Their earlier education includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Architectural studies from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they attained from 2000 to 2004.
