Birendra Kumar Sahu is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in data engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer/Architect at Atlan since March 2025, Birendra is instrumental in designing an advanced data catalog lakehouse platform that addresses diverse data governance challenges. Previously, as Senior Director of Engineering at Chargebee, oversight included the Data Platform and ML Platform, while at Razorpay, the role involved developing a robust enterprise data platform. Birendra has held pivotal roles in early-stage companies such as FirstHive and Emart America, focusing on customer data integration and machine learning solutions. With a foundation as a Solution Architect at Teradata, Birendra has contributed to big data analytics and has a solid academic background with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
