Atlanta BeltLine
Kimberley Wilson has a diverse work experience in the fields of design, construction, and project management. Kimberley is currently the Vice President of Design and Construction at Atlanta BeltLine, leading a team responsible for the design and construction of the largest infrastructure redevelopment program in Atlanta's history. Prior to this, they held various positions at Georgia Institute of Technology, including Associate Director of Construction Services and Director of Capital Projects, where they managed the construction of major capital projects totaling $450 million and oversaw projects in dining, retail, housing, and other campus services. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Architect at Lord Aeck Sargent Architecture, focusing on construction contract administration and project management for housing, mixed-use, retail, and historic preservation projects.
Kimberley Wilson, RA, holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a focus on Environmental Design/Architecture from Texas A&M University. Kimberley also has a Master of Building Construction degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Florida. In addition to their educational background, Kimberley has obtained certification as a Registered Architect from the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners in June 2006.
Atlanta BeltLine
The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment and mobility projects currently underway in the United States. The Atlanta BeltLine is a sustainable redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly to each other. Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) is the entity tasked with planning and executing the implementation of the Atlanta BeltLine in partnership with other public and private organizations, including City of Atlanta departments.
