Omar A. Syed

Omar A. Syed is an experienced board member and executive, currently serving on the boards of multiple organizations including Bahrain Food Holding Company, McLaren Racing, Aluminium Bahrain, Prodrive, Gulf Cryo, and McLaren Group, among others. As Chief Investment Officer at Mumtalakat since February 2021 and having held senior investment roles at a private family office in 2020, Omar brings substantial expertise in investment strategy and corporate governance. Educational credentials include a Master in Accounting from Concordia University and a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, supplemented by an International Director Certification from INSEAD.
