Vaughn Roberts has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the finance and hospitality industries. Vaughn is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Special Projects at Atlantis Bahamas, a position they started in August 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they held the role of Senior Vice President of Finance, Administration, and Capital Projects at Ocean Reef Club. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Principal at The Wentworth Group Ltd., where they provided financial advisory services to clients in the tourism, real estate development, and retail sectors. Before that, from 2015 to 2017, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance at More Development Property Company, where they analyzed investment opportunities in hospitality and real estate. Vaughn's experience also includes serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Alliances at Baha Mar from 2011 to 2015, the Managing Director at Downtown Nassau Partnership from 2009 to 2011, and the Vice President of Finance at Baha Mar from 2006 to 2009. Vaughn began their career as an Associate at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in 2004 and later worked as an Associate Director at Bank One Limited from 2002 to 2004. Vaughn also gained experience as a Senior Consultant at KPMG from 1995 to 1999, where they led teams in financial process redesign and performed audits for retail companies.
Vaughn Roberts holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Vaughn also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and International Business from Florida International University.
