Atlas AI
Priyadharshini Tamizharasi Suresh is a machine learning engineer who currently works at Atlas AI. Priyadharshini has also worked at Greenstand and the Intelligent Information Systems Research Laboratory in the past.
At Greenstand, Priyadharshini developed an algorithm to automate the identification of 200,000+ plant images uploaded by users, to help eliminate the need for numerous hours of manual annotation. Priyadharshini adopted a Bilinear CNN model with orderless pooling for fine grained visual recognition in order to realize an accuracy of 85%. Priyadharshini also implemented computer vision algorithms to enable the model to predict previously unseen plant species.
At the Intelligent Information Systems Research Laboratory, Priyadharshini designed a system to recognize human emotions by extracting keypoints and spatiotemporal features from in-the-wild video clips. Priyadharshini implemented a Convolutional LSTM network for video classification and performed emsembling, achieving results comparable to the current state-of-the-art while significantly lowering the computational complexity.
Priyadharshini Tamizharasi Suresh has a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University.
Some of their coworkers include Jeff Bishop - Engineering Manager. Their manager is Georgios Ouzounis, Head of ML Engineering.
