Eric Rynerson

Eric Rynerson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in safety and aviation management, currently serving as Senior Director of Safety at Atlas Air since May 2019. In previous roles, Eric has led numerous significant flight safety investigations, directing a specialized team responsible for over 240 annual investigations. Prior to joining Atlas Air, Eric held various positions at the University of Rochester Medical Center, including Analyst/Programmer Lead and Director of Simulation and Systems Improvement, where Eric implemented human factors projects and managed educational programs with a substantial budget. Eric also has a strong educational background, holding a Master's Degree in Human Factors and a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
