Sofie de Clercq

Sofie De Clercq has extensive experience in financial management and analysis, currently serving as Business Controller for Compressor Technique Logistics at Atlas Copco since January 2002. In this role, Sofie oversees the analysis of results, KPIs, and pricing for 86 business services entities across more than 40 countries, while ensuring a strong control environment to protect company assets and manage financial performance. Additionally, responsibilities include managing the finance planning process, implementing process efficiencies with finance innovation teams, and participating in internal audits. Since November 2012, Sofie has also contributed as Program Controller and member of the program management team for a significant finance outsourcing project. Prior to Atlas Copco, Sofie held various positions at Sabena, the National Airline Company of Belgium. Sofie holds Master degrees in Applied Economics and Social & Cultural Anthropology from the University of Antwerp and the Catholic University of Leuven, as well as further education from the Stockholm School of Economics.
