Michael Janse

Michael Janse serves as the VP of Business Development at Atlas Data Storage since March 2025, focusing on the commercialization of DNA molecule-based data storage. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Advisor at ARCH Venture Partners, where consultative efforts supported investments in Atlas Data Storage, and as a Venture Investor at Qualcomm Ventures, managing investments in mobility and AI technologies. Michael held the position of Managing Director at Samsung Venture Investment, overseeing investments in semiconductor and AI sectors. Other leadership roles include CEO and Co-Founder of Zzyzx Polymers and Ondulé Semiconductor, as well as Managing Director positions at Harris & Harris Group and ARCH Venture Partners. Michael earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
