Alexander Smith has had extensive work experience in the restaurant industry. In 2012, they founded Atlas Restaurant Group and opened Mediterranean Kouzina Ouzo Bay in Baltimore. Since then, the group has expanded to include various restaurants and bars in Baltimore, Houston, and Boca Raton. Smith also owns Ouzo Bay Greek Kouzina, which specializes in authentic Greek cuisine. In 2017, they opened Tagliata, an Italian chophouse in Harbor East. Additionally, Smith is the owner of Harbor East Delicatessen and Pizzeria, Azumi (a fine-dining Japanese restaurant), and Loch Bar, which offers a wide selection of seafood and drinks.
Alexander Smith attended The Boys' Latin School of Maryland from 2000 to 2003. Alexander later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at the University of Delaware from 2004 to 2007.
