Jaro Nummikoski has worked in various companies in different roles. Currently, they are the CFO and Co-Founder of Atma Energy since August 2020. From May 2018 to July 2020, they worked in CPS Energy as a Strategic Research and Innovation Manager. Jaro has also worked in OCI Solar Power LLC from March 2018 to May 2018 as Manager of Business Development. In OCI Solar Power LLC, they worked in several roles like Asset Manager, Planning Manager, Strategy Analyst, and Special Assistant to the President from 2014 to 2018. Jaro worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Texas Sustainable Energy Research Institute from September 2012 to February 2014 and as a Lab Assistant in The University of Texas at San Antonio from June 2012 to September 2012. Previously, they worked in Assent Trading as an Equity Trader in 2009 and in Kershner Trading Group as an Equity Trader from 2005 to 2009. Jaro started their career in Amherst Securities Group as a Jr. Analyst from November 2004 to September 2005.
Jaro Nummikoski earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Texas State University in 2004. In 2009, they began studying Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they continued until at least 2013, earning a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2014 and 2015, Jaro Nummikoski obtained certifications in R Programming, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, and Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies from Coursera Verified Certificates.
