Melissa Lara Clissold

Melissa Lara Clissold is an accomplished communications professional and social entrepreneur with extensive experience in strategic design and innovation. Currently serving as Communications & Impact Lead at ATÖLYE since February 2020, Melissa has a strong track record in storytelling, content creation, and community engagement. In addition to this role, Melissa co-chairs the B Lab Türkiye Steering Committee to expand the B Corp community and is the founder of About AI.Life, focusing on human-AI collaboration. As a co-founder of Jam Sessions Turkey, Melissa promotes social change through music, while also being an active singer and guitarist in the band Zeytin. Previously, Melissa held significant positions such as English Editor at Medyascope.tv and National Director for The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award-Türkiye, where impactful events and strategic planning were key responsibilities. Melissa's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Anthropology of Development from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy from the University of York.
