Ames Kirshen has extensive experience in the gaming and entertainment industry. They founded Atomic Arcade in 2021, where they serve as the Founder, Studio GM, and Creative Director. Prior to that, Ames worked at DC Comics as the Vice President of Interactive & Animation for four years from 2017 to 2021. They also worked at WB Games as the Vice President of Production & Creative for the DC Comics Franchise from 2008 to 2016. Before that, they served as the Executive Producer at Brash Entertainment from 2007 to 2008. Ames has also held various roles at Marvel Studios, DC Comics, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Online, contributing to video game production and multimedia content.

Ames Kirshen attended Morris Hills High School from 1986 to 1990. Following this, Ames Kirshen went on to attend the County College of Morris from 1990 to 1992 and Seton Hall University from 1992 to 1995. No specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
