Brian Chen has extensive experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on game design and technical roles. Brian currently serves as the Principal Game Designer at Atomic Arcade. Prior to this, Brian worked at Treehouse Games as the Lead Game Designer and later as the Principal Game Designer, where they played a key role in establishing the studio and leading the design and vision for a genre-blending online multiplayer cooperative game. Before that, they worked at Riot Games as a Senior Technical Game Designer, where they led gameplay design for various game modes in League of Legends and implemented systems to enhance content creation. Brian began their career at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer in Test, where they played a crucial role in ensuring product quality through test automation and documentation.
Brian Chen earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Michigan from 2003 to 2007. Brian then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sound Engineering from the same institution between 2006 and 2008.
