Phillip Liu

Phillip Liu is the current Vice President of Healthcare for Atomic. Prior to this, they were an Angel Investor for Archon Capital LLC from January 2018 to December 2018, where they evaluated early stage investment opportunities in medical device and digital health. Phillip was also an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company from January 2018 to December 2020, with a focus on biotech/biopharma, medtech and venture capital. Before that, they were at restor3d from January 2017 to December 2017 as part of their R&D product development team for a unicorn digital health/telemedicine start up. Phillip Liu has also worked as an Internal Medicine Physician at Duke University Health System from January 2015 to December 2018, where they focused on value based care, RWE research, and oncology medtech R&D. Phillip began their career as a Summer Associate for Bristol-Myers Squibb from January 2013 to December 2013, and then went on to complete their MD/MBA at Duke University from January 2010 to December 2015. Phillip started out as a Cancer drug development research fellow at National Cancer Institute (NCI) from January 2005 to December 2008.

Phillip Liu was educated at The Johns Hopkins University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Economics. Phillip then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business with a concentration in Health Sector Management. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Medicine from Duke NUS Medical School.
