Hadi Tavakoli has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Hadi started their career as a Project Assistant at Chalmers University of Technology in April 2010 and worked there until November 2010. Hadi then joined McGill University as a PHD Candidate in February 2011 and completed their role in January 2015. Afterward, they worked as a Research Associate at McMaster University from 2016 to 2017. Following this, they became a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they worked from 2017 until June 2020. Currently, Hadi is serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Atomica since July 2020.

Hadi Tavakoli completed their education in chronological order starting with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Telecommunications, from Isfahan University of Technology, which they attended from 2002 to 2007. Hadi then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering Physics, specializing in Radio and Space Science, at Chalmers University of Technology from 2007 to 2010. Lastly, from 2011 to 2015, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.
