Sean Black has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Sean started their career in 2010 as a Machinist Mate Weapons in the US Navy, where they served until 2015. After that, they joined ICON Aircraft as an Engineer for a few months in 2022. Later in the same year, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Gigamat Technologies, Inc., where they were involved in a senior capstone project. Currently, they are employed at Atomica as an Equipment Engineer, starting from 2023.

Sean Black attended California State University, Chico from 2018 to 2022. During that time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they also completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Advanced Manufacturing & Applied Robotics from the same institution.
