Chris Barnes has extensive experience in the finance and investment sectors, currently serving as a Member of Council at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) since July 2021. As Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Atomico since February 2015, Chris contributes to strategic leadership and operational management. Previously, Chris held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Terra Firma Capital Partners from September 2001 to February 2015. Early career experience includes a decade at Arthur Andersen, where Chris served as Senior Tax Manager. Chris holds a Master of Arts with Honors in History and Economics from the University of Cambridge, attained in 1990.
