Christian Drohmann

Christian Drohmann currently serves as Chief IP Counsel at Atotech, an MKS Brand, following a progression of roles including Senior Director IP and IP Director since September 2019. Prior to this position, Christian worked as Corporate Patent Counsel at Synvina from July 2018 to August 2019 and held various intellectual property roles at BASF from July 2004 to June 2018, including Senior Intellectual Property Counsel. Christian's earlier experience includes positions in procedural patent administration, intellectual property counsel, and lab management at BASF Antwerpen N.V. and BASF. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Chemistry (Polymer Chemistry) from Ulm University, a postdoctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Diplom in Chemistry from Ulm University. Christian is recognized as a European Patent Attorney since 2011, a Patentassessor since 2016, and a German Patent Attorney since 2017.
