Eugene Woods is the President and CEO of Atrium Health, a position he has held since 2016. Prior to that, he served as the Past Chair of the Board of Trustees for the American Hospital Association from 2017-2018. From 2011-2016, Woods was the President and COO of CHRISTUS Health. He began his career with Catholic Health Initiatives in 2005 as the CEO of Saint Joseph Health System before being promoted to Senior Vice President of CHI Division Operations in 2011.
