Kibwe Hamani Franklin

Kibwe Hamani Franklin serves as the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Planning at Atrium Health since November 2021, previously holding the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning, Data Governance, and Project Management at University Hospital from October 2019 to November 2021. At University Hospital, Kibwe established the vice president role and a strategic plan for the academic medical center, including data governance initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of System Strategy at Indiana University Health System, where strategic planning efforts led to increased revenue, and roles at Cigna, where Kibwe directed strategy and network operations, along with global customer experience strategy initiatives. Kibwe's military background includes directorship roles in administration and materials management within the U.S. Navy. Kibwe holds an M.B.A. from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Tulane University.
