Vineet G. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Vineet currently holds the position of Vice President & Chief Medical Officer at Atrium Health, where they are responsible for the quality, patient safety, and accreditation of specific hospital facilities. Vineet is also involved in physician engagement and medical staff office activities. Prior to this, Vineet served as the Facility Privacy Officer at Carolinas HealthCare System. Vineet'searlier experience includes roles such as Medical Director, Quality & Informatics and Emergency Physician at Indiana Regional Medical Center, as well as Assistant Professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Vineet began their career as an Emergency Physician at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Vineet G. completed their medical education at the University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, from 1974 to 1979, earning an M.B., B.S degree in Medicine. Vineet then pursued a Ph.D in Pharmacology at the University of Alberta, from 1982 to 1986. Later, from 1986 to 1988, they completed a Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Vineet G. continued their education at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where they completed a Residency in Internal Medicine from 1988 to 1991. Finally, in 1997, they obtained a Certification in Physician Medical Management from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
