Rich Caplan

Rich Caplan brings over 37 years of experience as a professional in the addictions field, having operated a private practice in Cambridge and Lowell for the past 30 years. Prior to establishing a full-time private practice in 2011, Rich Caplan worked for HVMA for 28 years, where management of the substance abuse service was a key role from 1985 to 2000. Additionally, Rich Caplan served as a behavioral health consultant at Perfect Health from February 2015 to February 2017, focusing on integrating community, medical, and behavioral health models for chronic illness care. Rich Caplan holds dual Master's degrees in Social Work and Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and Columbia University School of Social Work, both earned between 1980 and 1982.
