Steve Carter

Steve Carter is an experienced professional with a strong background in sales and management within the technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as General Manager at ATS Automation, Inc. since February 2025, Carter previously held the position of Vice President of Sales at Hoffman Building Technologies from June 2009 to February 2025. Prior to that, Carter was the Owner of MTech Sales and Consulting, providing independent sales and consulting services. Carter also served as Strategic Business Unit Manager at Energy Conversion Systems from January 2002 to November 2007, overseeing a global business unit for electric motor components. Earlier in the career, Carter worked as a Sales Engineer for Energy Conversion Systems, managing relationships with major automotive manufacturers, and as an Applications Engineer at Morganite from 1989 to 1994.
