Kathy Markowiak has over 30 years of work experience in various HR leadership roles. Kathy is currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Waterloo Wellington. Prior to this, Kathy held positions such as Vice President of Human Resources at ATS Automation and Senior Change Leader at Agricorp. Kathy also has a strong background in HR Business Partner roles at Sun Life Financial, where they provided strategic advice and support to different areas of the company. Kathy's experience extends beyond the corporate sector, as they have also worked as the Head of Canadian Human Resources at Bentall Kennedy, a real estate investment advisor. Throughout their career, Kathy has demonstrated their expertise in talent management, organizational development, and leadership coaching.

Kathy Markowiak has a background in Change Leadership from Harvard Business School and Business Administration from Seneca Polytechnic. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, such as safeTALK and Mental Health First Aid from reputable institutions like the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Kathy also holds certifications as a Coach and Facilitator from the International Coach Federation and ICA Associates Inc. respectively. Kathy has further certifications in areas such as Organization Design and Personality Assessments from institutions like Linkage, Inc. and Psychometrics Canada.
