Kirk Drane has an extensive career with AT&T, starting as a Network Center Technician and progressing through various leadership roles to the current position of Principal Solutions Architect since July 1998. In this role, Kirk manages the design validation lab, overseeing the installation and configuration of servers, routers, switches, and fiber plant. Previous positions include Sr. Manager - Solutions Architect, where Kirk managed data center operations for 64 video hub offices, and Technical Director roles focused on video engineering and ASI equipment management. Prior experience includes positions at Texas Instruments as a Maintenance Engineer and at the United States Postal Service as a Maintenance Mechanic, alongside a military background as a Nuclear Reactor Operator and Electronics Technician in the US Navy.
