The Role We have 6 month term opportunity for a System Test Specialist to join our team.

As an up and coming System Test Specialist, you will have a critical role on the system integration test team. We will rely on your attention to detail and excellent documentation skills to describe problems and identify risks/quality issues for our robotic system. Test planning and execution will be a big part of your day along with collaborating with the product development team to understand new features and tests required. 

Who you are

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a testing role
  • Strong ability to identify, record, document, and track development issues
  • Experience in preparing and executing test plans and proactively identifying areas for additional testing based on the deployment objectives
  • Ability to understand and work with electro-mechanical systems; basic understanding of motors & robotics
  • Soft skills that include strong written and oral communication, time management, self-direction, and organization

What we need

  • Contributions to a system test suite that includes software, robotics, UI, and other various hardware
  • Creating test cases, test suites, & documentation to show that the design meets expectations and validating behavior at a system level
  • Performing regression testing to ensure existing functionality works as expected
  • Installing software, configuration of systems, creation of field facing documentation
  • Operation of the Attabotics system which includes interacting with robotics, troubleshooting problems, and performing minor repairs
  • Work collaboratively across the organization, including engagement with the development team, project management team, and the customer facing team
  • Opportunities exist for task scripting, developing reports for metrics, data analysis
