Maïté Blank

R&D Manager at Attolight

Maïté Blank has been working in the field of research and development for the past eight years. In 2019, they began working as an R&D Manager and R&D Engineer at Attolight. From 2014 to 2019, they were a PhD Candidate at the Ecole polytechnique de Lausanne, where they worked on thermal boundary conductance at metal/dielectric interfaces. In 2014, they also completed a Master thesis at PX Group, studying the thermomechanical properties of several commercially available alloys. In 2013, they completed a project in a laboratory at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where they characterized the crystallization kinetic of a newly developed Pt-based bulk metallic glass. In 2012, they were a Trainee at JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH.

Maïté Blank obtained their Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2012. Maïté then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at EPFL, which they completed in 2014. In the same year, they also obtained a Minor in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Finally, Maïté Blank completed their PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at EPFL in 2019.
