Gregg Newschwander

Gregg Newschwander is a seasoned nursing educator and administrator, currently serving as the Dean of the College of Nursing at Auburn University since December 2009. Prior to this role, Newschwander held the position of Chair of the Department of Nursing at the University of Vermont from 2004 to 2008 and served as Assistant Dean at the University of Virginia from 1990 to 2000. Academically, Newschwander earned a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Marquette University between 1983 and 1988 and a Master of Science in Parent-Child Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 1977-1978.
