Rahat is currently the Head of Trading at AudaCity Capital Management, where they manage company risk and optimizes profitability. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Consultant at Bull Infotech, overseeing the development of a social trading platform. Rahat also served as a Consultant Trader at Acme Solutions London Limited, where they provided investment advice and conducted research on forex and derivative markets. Additionally, they worked as a Back Office Risk Management Consultant at TRADENEXT, implementing risk mitigation strategies and presenting best practices to senior management. Earlier in their career, Rahat held positions such as Director of Risk Management at Abacus Trading and CEO at Bond Street Pvt Ltd Pakistan. Rahat began their career as a Marketing Director at Wall Street Securities Pvt Ltd. Rahat also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Ramada Securities and Derivatives Pvt Ltd and as an Entrepreneur at Arabian Trading and Management Pvt Ltd.
Rahat Farooqui obtained an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, where they studied from 1989 to 1995. In addition, they pursued a Fund Management course in Investment Management Certificate Unit 1 at CFA UK in 2017.
