Mauricio Sanchez's work experience begins in 1989 when they served in the United States Marine Corps as a Platoon Sergeant. After being honorably discharged in 1994, they joined Salomon Brothers Inc as a Summer Analyst in Investment Banking. Mauricio then worked at J.P. Morgan in Investment Banking from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, they joined Trust Company of the West, where they were a member of the deal team that managed a portfolio of investments in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. From 2003 to 2005, they worked in Investment Banking at Citigroup and then at Banc of America Securities from 2005 to 2006. Mauricio then moved to Alvarez & Marsal as a Corporate Turnaround and Restructuring professional from 2006 to 2012. Mauricio joined Biscayne Management Partners in 2012 as a Principal until 2015 when they became a Managing Director at Conway MacKenzie, Inc. Mauricio is currently a Managing Director at Audax Private Equity starting from 2018.

Mauricio Sanchez has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Mauricio also obtained the NACD Directorship Certification® from the National Association of Corporate Directors in November 2022.
