Audi F1 Project

Audi has won almost every race in motorsport – now it’s time for Formula 1. From 2026, we will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship with our own factory team and a power unit developed in Germany. The Audi F1 Project is a team unlike any other. While one part of the team works at the state-of-the-art Audi Competence Center Motorsport of Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber F1 factory is located in Hinwil (Switzerland). Audi and Sauber is a strong combination: The expertise from successful Audi motorsport programs in Formula E, touring car racing, customer racing, the Dakar Rally and Le Mans meets more than 30 years of F1 experience from Sauber. Popular on a global stage, highly emotional and technologically advanced – Formula 1 is a spectacular platform for the world’s most sophisticated electrified racing cars. Audi wants to demonstrate “Vorsprung durch Technik” in this competitive environment. The decision to enter Formula 1 was driven by new regulations announced by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). From 2026, sustainable synthetic fuels will be used while approximately 50% of the drivetrain’s power will be electric. Audi wants to actively support the transformation of what is by far the most important motorsport series. Have you got what it takes to write Audi’s next chapter in motorsport history? To meet the challenges ahead, our team is looking for new team members who bring an athlete’s mindset to the mix. If you believe boundaries only exist to be broken and giving up isn’t an option, we would love to hear from you. Contact/Imprit: https://bit.ly/49bH2OB
