Dr. Hans Michel Piëch has been a member of the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG since November 19, 2009.
Dr. Piëch was born in Vienna, Austria, on January 10, 1942. He received his general qualification for university entrance in 1963 and subsequently studied law at the University of Vienna until 1968. He received his Doctorate in Legal Studies (“Dr. juris.”) in 1970.
That same year, he began his career with Gulf Oil in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA). In 1971, he became Managing Director of Porsche KG in Stuttgart. Dr. Piëch has worked as an independent attorney since 1977.
Dr. Piëch has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Porsche Holding GmbH in Salzburg since 1975. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Porsche AG Stuttgart since 1989, a member of the Supervisory Board of Porsche SE since 2007, and he has been a Member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG since 2009. Dr. Piëch has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG since 2009, and has held a seat on the Presiding Committee of AUDI AG since 2016.
