Ryan Kang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ryan started their career in 2007 as a Research Analyst for the Embassy of Canada to Korea. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Project Manager & Lead Analyst for SBR International. In 2010, they joined Teranet Inc. and held various roles, including Lead, Corporate Performance Reporting, Manager, Strategic Planning & Performance, Manager, Corporate Development, and Senior Manager, Corporate Development. In 2019, they joined AudienceView as a Director, Corporate Development, and later became the Vice President, Corporate Development in 2021.

Ryan Kang completed their Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (B.Comm.) from Queen's University in the School of Business between 2002 and 2006. Ryan later pursued a Global Professional Master of Laws (GPLLM) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, Ryan has obtained several certifications, including Workplace Mental Health Leadership from Morneau Shepell, Change Leadership from Cornell University, Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard Certified Graduate from Palladium: Make It Possible, and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute.
