Audio Engineering Society
Bruce Olson is the current Committee Chairman at the Audio Engineering Society. Bruce has over 20 years of experience in the audio industry, including stints as the Director of Education at Professional Audio Design, Inc., and Adjunct Faculty at Bay State College and The New England Institute of Art.
Olson has been teaching and developing curriculum for music technology, music theory and music history classes for over two decades. Bruce has also served on program advisory boards and designed lab facilities for both colleges. In addition to their work in education, Bruce has also been active in the audio industry, working with the Audio Engineering Society and Emerson College.
Bruce Olson has a Bachelor of Arts in American Culture from the University of Michigan and an M.Ed. in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University Sarasota. Bruce also has a bachelor's degree from Walt Whitman High School.

Audio Engineering Society
The Audio Engineering Society, celebrating over 70 years of audio excellence, now counts over 12,000 members throughout the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Japan and the Far East. The organization serves as the pivotal force in the exchange and dissemination of technical information for the industry. Currently, its members are affiliated with 90 AES professional sections and more than 120 AES student sections around the world. Section activities include guest speakers, technical tours, demonstrations and social functions. Through local AES section events members experience valuable opportunities for professional networking and personal growth.
