Martin Dufour has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. Martin started their career as a Software Developer at Services d'Estimation Informatisées de Montréal, where they worked on the development of the Mysoft cost estimation software for specialized contractors in the construction industry. Martin then joined Softimage as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development of the Avid|DS video editing software. Martin later joined Audiokinetic, where they held multiple roles including Lead Software Developer and eventually became the CTO. At Audiokinetic, they worked on the development of the Wwise audio pipeline solution, focusing on areas such as in-game sound engine for Windows and next-generation consoles. Martin has expertise in technologies such as MFC, C++, C#, and low-level intrinsics like MMX, SSE, and Altivec.
Martin Dufour attended Collège de Maisonneuve from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained their DEC in Sciences pures. After that, from 1996 to 1998, they studied Computer Engineering at Université de Sherbrooke.
