Tao (Tony) also has experience as a Quantitative and AI Researcher at Sentient Investment Management, and as a Researcher at BlackRock, specializing in big-data machine learning. With a background in nano-engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science, Tao has a strong educational foundation from top universities like UC Berkeley and Stony Brook University.
