Jim Viris

Jim Viris has a diverse range of work experience, beginning with their role as Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Augury, where they led talent acquisition for a hypergrowth startup and managed a team of over 460 employees. Prior to that, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they developed recruiting strategies to scale the Worldwide Solutions Architecture and Training & Certification teams. Jim also scaled the recruiting team and created an operating model to drive productivity improvements.

Before joining AWS, Jim held positions at Prudential Financial, including Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition & Diversity, where they led experienced and diversity recruiting for the US businesses and oversaw 3,000 annual hires. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Staffing Specialist, managing multiple requisitions and implementing effective sourcing strategies.

Earlier in their career, Jim worked as a Talent Acquisition Leader at Honeywell, where they played a key role in the integration of UOP into Honeywell's Staffing department. Jim also worked as an Account Executive/Recruiter at Winston Staffing, where they developed an Accounting/Finance division and established strong client relationships.
