Gemma Taverni is an experienced R&D Manager and System Engineering Lead currently working at Aura since January 2024, while also holding similar positions at Hexagon AB since October 2021. With a strong background in research and development, Gemma has previously worked as a Research and Development Engineer at iniVation from September 2019 to August 2021 and served as a PhD Graduate Student at the University of Zurich from August 2016 to August 2020. Additional experience includes roles at the Marie Curie Alumni Association, synlab Italia srl, and an internship at the European Patent Office. Gemma holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuromorphic Engineering and Neuroscience from the University of Zurich, alongside a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Università di Pisa.
