Alexandre Darbois is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a focus on flight control systems and avionics. Currently serving as Overall System Design Architect and Avionics, Flight Controls Manager at AURA-AERO since January 2022, Alexandre has held various key positions at Thales from 2011 to 2021, including Chief Architect for Autonomy Functions and Head of the Autopilot Domain. Prior to this, Alexandre was a System Engineer and team leader at Aeroconseil Aircraft Engineering from 2005 to 2011, specializing in flight control laws, and contributed to the A380 program as a System Engineer at Aeroconseil Deutschland gmbH from 2003 to 2005. Alexandre's educational background includes a Master of Science in Aeronautics from CentraleSupélec and Polytechnique Montréal.
