Richard Peters

Richard Peters, MD, PhD, currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Pharming Group N.V. since September 2023. As Founder and Executive Chairman of TellBio, Inc. since August 2019, Richard Peters has established a significant presence in the biotechnology sector. Richard Peters holds multiple leadership roles including Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Compensation Committee at Aprea Therapeutics, and Investor and Corporate Advisor at Aura Biosciences. Previously, Richard Peters acted as Lead Independent Director & Chair of the Nomination & Governance Committee at Kineta and served as President, CEO, and Director at Yumanity Therapeutics. Additional experience includes roles as Corporate Advisor at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, SVP at Sanofi Genzyme, and Co-Founder of X4 Pharmaceuticals. Richard Peters completed advanced studies at Harvard Medical School, obtaining a degree as a Howard Hughes Post-doctoral Fellow in Structural Biology.
