Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor is a Renewable Energy Engineer at Aurecon, a position held since February 2018. Previously, Simon served as a Power System Engineer and Electrical Engineer at Beca from July 2015 to December 2017, and completed a vacation placement as a System Forecaster at Western Power in late 2013. Simon's role at Western Power involved assisting the System Forecasting Team in predicting the adoption of small-scale photovoltaic installations and analyzing the impact of electric vehicle and battery storage system uptake on the electrical grid. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Renewable Energy Engineering and Electrical Power Engineering from Murdoch University, obtained between 2011 and 2014.
