Joan Fedota, LCSW, Ed.D. is a Professor Emeritus and the Social Work Program Chair at George Williams College of Aurora University since August 2014. Prior to this, Joan served as an Assistant Dean at National-Louis University from July 2006 to June 2014 and as a Social Work Coordinator at Community Consolidated School District 59 from August 1994 to June 2006. With a background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Joan has also worked in private practice, school districts, and hospitals. Joan holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from National Louis University, a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Northern Illinois University.
