Americo B.

Americo B. is a seasoned business development executive with extensive experience in the engineering and mining sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development for the Middle East and North Africa at Ausenco since May 2025, Americo has demonstrated a strong ability to drive growth and enhance client success in the region. Prior to this role, Americo held the position of Vice President Executive Accounts and Commodities at FLSmidth from March 2020 to May 2025, and served as the Global Head of Business Development - Mining at thyssenkrupp from December 2016 to March 2020. Previous roles also include Regional Vice President for Business Development in South America and Southern Europe at Jacobs, as well as General Manager and Operations Manager at Fluor Corporation. Americo holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and has furthered education at institutions including ESMT Berlin and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
