Saskia Peters

Saskia Peters is an experienced professional currently serving as the Climate Resilience Engagement Manager at Ausgrid since April 2023. Prior to this role, Saskia spent nearly a decade at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, where key achievements included managing a high-performance team for the $25 million Safeguard Acceleration Program and delivering a Compressed Air and Steam Services Offer that secured over $1.2 million in funding for manufacturers. Previous roles also encompassed various project officer positions focused on home energy initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wollongong, an International Exchange Program at The University of British Columbia, and advanced Spanish studies in Santiago de Chile, alongside a Sydney Fellowship from the Centre for Sustainability Leadership.
