Itzel Torres Valdez currently serves as a Pre-AP Spanish 2 Teacher at Austin Achieve Public Schools since July 2023, having previously held positions as both a Front Office Clerk focusing on reception and attendance. Responsibilities included managing student inquiries, facilitating parent communication, maintaining confidentiality in sensitive discussions, tracking scholar attendance, and coordinating truancy procedures. Earlier experience includes roles at Franklin & Marshall College as a Bilingual Telephone Interviewer and a Bilingualism Lab Researcher, where research projects on inclusive language were developed and presented. Itzel's diverse background also encompasses leadership roles in student affairs and customer service positions, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Franklin & Marshall College.
