Ali Ghilarducci has extensive experience in communications and community engagement, currently serving as the Chief of Communications and Community Engagement at Austin Independent School District since November 2017. Previous roles within the same district include Assistant Director and Supervisor of Community Engagement and External Communications. Prior to this, Ali Ghilarducci worked as an Education Organizer at Austin Voices for Education and Youth and as a PALS coach and ESL instructor at the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas. Early professional experience includes roles as a Community Education Facilitator at House of Ruth, where Ali facilitated workshops on domestic violence and healthy relationships, and as a Summer Enrichment Program Coordinator at Pomona Hope. Ali Ghilarducci earned a degree in Politics and International Relations from Scripps College between 2003 and 2010.
