Sonya Robinson

Sonya Robinson currently serves as the Vice President of Development at the Austin Symphony Orchestra, a position held since August 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Director of Development for Corporate, Foundation & Government Relations at Southwestern University from November 2018 to August 2025 and Director of Corporate And Foundation Relations at the Indianapolis Museum of Art from July 2017 to March 2019. Additionally, Sonya held the role of Corporate Relations and Partnerships Officer at Ronald McDonald House of Indiana and worked as a Fundraising Consultant as an Independent Consultant. Earlier career roles include Director of Institutional Giving and Special Projects at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Associate Director of Development at North Carolina State University, and Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of North Texas. Sonya's career began at the Jewish Community Association of Austin as a Marketing & Development Associate. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from St. Edward's University.
