Deron Lozano is currently the Senior Vice President of Environment & Project Development at Austin Transit Partnership. Prior to their current role, Deron worked at AECOM for several years in various leadership positions specializing in transit planning and project management. Before that, Deron held roles at URS Corporation and Valley Metro, gaining experience in transit system and service planning. Deron has a background in environmental studies and planning, having obtained their B.A. from Western Washington University and University of Washington. Throughout their career, Deron has shown dedication to delivering quality results for public and private sector partners in the transportation and transit industry.

ATP’s mission is to deliver on the voters' transit vision in partnership with the community — and in a way that embeds equity, sustainability, and transparency as overarching priorities. ATP is driven by data, which includes community input, and is committed to meeting voters’ goals and honoring Austin’s values.
