Brett Maher

Brett Maher is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in cloud services, infrastructure management, and technical support. Currently serving as the Head of Cloud Services at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since February 2019, Brett has played a critical role in navigating Australia's energy transformation. Previously, Brett held positions at Service Stream, including Head of Design, Build & Implementation, during the significant nbn rollout, and Infrastructure Services Manager, where responsibilities included managing infrastructure strategy and operations. Earlier experience includes key roles at RACV, Cadbury plc., and the European Space Agency, covering IT support, project management, and system administration. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University and completion of a Leadership Development Program at Melbourne Business School.
